A monthly Lecture Series hosted by Canadian Transfusion Trials Group (CTTG) – a national network funded by Canadian Blood Services focused on supporting high-impact clinical trials in transfusion medicine – supports education to strengthen understanding of clinical trial methods. Canadian Blood Services’ Surveillance and Discovery Laboratory (SDL) has been featured in the Medical Laboratory Professionals Association of Ontario (MLPAO) magazine, ADVOCATE; available now to MLPAO members.
Dr. Harinad Maganti is a Canadian Blood Services research scientist and scientific director of cellular therapies research and development. He is also the latest recipient of the Thalassemia Foundation of Canada’s research grant. Canadian Blood Services hosted members of the Thalassemia Foundation of Canada in July 2025 to recognize their support of this research, which is described further in this blog.
