Canadian Blood Services relies on volunteers and community recruitment groups to host and support stem cell recruitment events.  These events are crucial for growing the Stem Cell Registry and helping patients in need.  

Whether you are part of a volunteer team or a registered recruitment group, it’s essential to complete the required training. This page is your guide for recruitment teams seeking the necessary training to organize either a Stem Cell Registry Recruitment Event

Stem Cell Registry Recruitment Training Module

Stem Cell Registry Recruitment kits include buccal swabs, labels and instructions for registrants to complete at home. These kits are great to have on hand for those who have signed up to donate and are interested in more, as well as those unable to donate blood or plasma but are still interested in being part of Canada’s Lifeline.  You can set up Stem Cell Registry Recruitment event to give registrants the freedom to either register and swab on site or take their kit home.
