I have been a blood donor since 1998.
I believe when we donate we don’t know who the recipient in need of our blood is. Thus I believe Religion = Blood = Equality.
Whatever the donor's background is, no questions are asked about religion or our ethnicity or gender etc., we just donate on completing the process to qualify and whoever the recipient, they are very grateful that they could get blood when they need it most.
