It's never too late to start

This week, I became a blood donor for the first time in my life.

It's something I have wanted to do for a long time but never followed through on and now that I finally have, I'm wondering why I didn't do it sooner.

30+ years ago my Dad’s life was saved because of a blood transfusion after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. I didn’t realize then the severity of the event as I was pretty young but I remember learning later in life a little more about the transfusion that helped my Dad who is still here today thanks to some selfless individuals and excellent doctors.

Giving back can change lives. Giving back matters. And I'm not going to lie, it feels pretty darn good, too.
