Honoring Bob: 109 Gifts of Life 🩸❤️

On July 2nd, we walked into the blood donor clinic with mixed emotions, carrying the memory of my brother, Bob. Bob passed away in December at the age of 64, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of 109 blood donations in Calgary. If he were still here, he would have been right beside us today, rolling up his sleeve to make another donation here in Nova Scotia. Before we even left the house, we found a sign: a 2025 dime. Greg held onto it. After finishing our donations and sitting down for our post-donation snack, that exact dime suddenly fell to the floor. In that quiet, undeniable moment, we knew. Bob was letting us know he was right there with us.
Bob spent his life giving the gift of life to strangers. Today, we honored him, and he comforted us. His generosity lives on, and his spirit is never far away. Rest in peace, Bob. Your legacy continues to save lives. đźŚźđź’•
