Blood debt

In 1967 my mother became very ill and needed 9 pints of blood to keep her alive. I was 13 at the time. When I was 17 I was allowed to donate blood in High school. Last week I donated my 136th time. I have now repaid the blood debt 15 times over and will continue to do so. If my blood has ever saved a life I don't know. Hopefully it has. That is why I do this.
