Nathan Doupnik

Volunteer

Representing Ontario and Nunavut

Seeing patients receive blood transfusions has given Nathan a good understanding about the importance of a stable blood supply. He is so passionate about donating blood that he has often recruited groups of friends to share the experience by giving together. Nathan’s commitment to what he calls this life-saving society started in high school and has continued throughout university.

His strong sense of social responsibility and altruistic nature drive him to do as much as he can to help patients in need. He volunteers at as many donation events as possible, and attends community events in an effort to recruit donors. In his role as co-president of the University of Windsor Blood Club, he provides leadership and creativity that have proven contagious to other volunteers on his team. Recently, Nathan spent time coaching students who will take his place after he graduates. His goal is to pursue a career in medicine.
