Sobeys in Charlottetown, PEI Believes Blood Donation is Part of Being a Good Corporate Citizen.

Sometimes it’s difficult to leave your business to donate blood, but Sobeys on Allen Street in Charlottetown doesn’t see it as a challenge.  The local champion said “Community involvement is an important part of being a good corporate citizen & this is definitely encouraged at the store”.  They consistently have a group donation scheduled every 3 months.  With some planning, staff can donate during work hours but they also see some attending with the group on their personal time. As a group donor & pledge  partner, we’re very thankful for their continued commitment.
