Grant Fitz – donor and PFL champion
“Donating has always been the right thing to do. People will always need blood products. We often don’t think of ourselves as heroes, but through the donation process, we all have the chance to be a hero and save people’s lives.”
Sara Blair – stem cell, platelet and blood recipient
“Having a stem cell transplant and blood transfusions gave me a new lease on life after my cancer diagnosis. I am here and doing well because donors took the time to donate blood. Something seemingly so small to them made a world of difference to me.”
Norman Javier - donor
“It takes little effort to be a donor and knowing that I can save the life of another feels rewarding. Reading the stories of people whose lives have been saved by donors is my motivation to continue donating.”
David Ecklund – stem cell and blood recipient
“Blood donors who I will never know saved my life and allowed me to experience all that I have and continue to enjoy. I pursued my dream job as a police officer, got married and have 2 amazing kids. I am grateful for donors every day.”
