I am Mohammed, 39 years old. I arrived in Canada as a refugee 9 months ago, and as a refugee overseas how much suffering I have had for such a long time, so I’m thankful for my new great country Canada to be a part of this community.
I started giving blood when I was 20 years old, and I was told that my blood type is everyone's type. And only 7% of population has O-negative blood. And this type is always in high demand and short supply.
As an O-negative donor I am so glad to help those who are in need & saving lives in an emergency. I am honoured today to be part of a frontline team to help every patient across Canada.
Finally I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to share my story with you.
