Wellness Wednesday: New virtual drop-in sessions offer support for working caregivers
Working caregivers are encouraged to join wellness and recognition specialist Christina Warrysh for informal drop-in sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. ET. These virtual gatherings are meant to offer support for employees who are managing work and family demands. This is a safe and supportive space to share your challenges, experiences, tips and tricks with others. During these sessions, Christina will provide resources and information to better support your mental health and wellness as we navigate through these challenging times. On-site and virtual employees can sign up for one or more sessions anytime using this form. You can also find and access additional mental health resources on Connect.
Question of the day: When the N95 masks arrive, will employees be fitted?
Our priority, at this time, is to source, secure and make available an adequate supply of N95 respirator masks as quickly as possible. Once we have done so, our implementation process will focus on wide and rapid distribution. The goal is to get these masks to the employees and volunteers who are asking for them, as efficiently as we can.
The process of fit testing would significantly delay our ability to make N95 masks available to employees. As such, mandatory fit testing will not be part of our implementation process at this time. Employee requests for fit testing will be addressed on a case-by-case basis and guidance on how to use them properly will be provided to staff next week.
